DMCA & Copyright Notice

Our role
Relay is a redirect layer, not a host. Short links resolve to destination URLs that live on other servers, operated by other parties. Relay does not store, cache, or serve the content found at a destination URL.
Reporting infringing content
Because Relay does not host destination content, the fastest way to remove infringing material is to contact the host of the destination site directly, or its hosting provider. If a Relay short link is being used to point to content you believe infringes your copyright, you can also notify us and we will disable that short link from resolving.
What to include in a notice
To help us act on a report quickly, include:
- The specific Relay short link (the full URL) you're reporting
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed
- Your contact information (name and email)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
Counter-notices
If your short link was disabled and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice with your contact information, an identification of the link removed, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was disabled in error.
Contact
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to the contact address listed for this project. Replace this line with your designated DMCA agent's name and email address before publishing.
This page is a general-purpose template based on common DMCA notice practice and is not legal advice. If you plan to rely on DMCA safe-harbor protections, register a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office and have this policy reviewed by a qualified lawyer.
